Welcome to the Scoil Iósaf Naofa Ballintemple website.
It is with great pleasure that I take up the role of principal of Scoil Iósaf Naofa, Ballintemple. Since 1904, Scoil Iósaf Naofa has provided the children of Ballintemple with the highest possible standard of education. It is a school that is steeped in history and is at the very heart of the local community.
It is a privilege for me to have this opportunity to lead the Scoil Iósaf Naofa community in the next stage of its development. At the centre of every great school is an outstanding staff, and here in Ballintemple we are no exception. The staff are trained in best practices and demonstrate a huge commitment to the education and well-being of all our students.
It is our ambition to provide the highest standard of education in which the children experience a wide ranging and balanced educational experience in which they can maximise their potential. All of which is done in a safe and caring environment. The school community, consisting of an active Parents’ Association, a dedicated Board of Management and supportive Patron will all work together to ensure that high standards are met in the school.
Scoil Iósaf Naofa is a vibrant community, which encourages an environment of inclusivity, spirituality, individuality and the development of all talents. There is an atmosphere of mutual respect and high expectations around behaviour, work ethic and personal achievement. We will work together to ensure that each child can be the very best they can be.
